Conduct market value appraisals of all types of real estate including residential, commercial, industrial and agricultural property for lending purposes.
•Complete appraisals of residential, multi-family, proposed subdivisions, commercial, industrial and agricultural properties by conducting inspections and interviews and collecting sales and related data. •Review appraisals prepared by outside appraisers. •Prepare appraisal reports in compliance with all applicable regulations and within specified timeframes. •Answer questions from Credit Administration, lending officers and customers regarding appraisals. •Complete work assignments according to the priorities established by the Chief Appraiser. •Assist other departments as required and perform other related duties.

•General Certified appraiser license •BA/BS degree or equivalent experience •Financial Analysis skills •PC skills •At least 3-5 years of appraisal experience •At least two years appraising investment type properties, multi-family over 5 units, proposed subdivision developments and agricultural properties •Knowledge of management’s basic philosophy and goals •Excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently •Ability to communicate effectively with customers and staff both orally and in writing •Ability to exercise sound judgment •Ability to collect information, analyze data, and derive conclusions •Possess a valid CA Driver’s License and maintain an excellent driving record
