A busy Treasure Coast appraisal firm is looking for a Researcher and Appraiser Trainees with commercial real estate experience. Researcher Job Description:
The Researcher tasks include collecting and researching property data such as requesting information from property contacts, researching zoning, ownership size, use, type of construction etc., in public records and verifying data in public records.
Setting up reports, accurately inserting basic information into Word and Excel Documents.
Breaking down reports, and entering all data into the office database.
THIS IS AN ENTRY LEVEL POSITION with a starting pay rate of $12.50-$15.00 per hour. CAPABILITY AND WILLINGNESS TO ADVANCE TO TRAINEE APPRAISER POSITION IS A REQUIREMENT.
Trainee Appraiser Job Description:
Assist in preparing comprehensive, quality and thorough appraisal reports using office template.
Research subject property and comparables - Verification of comparable data.
Preparation of charts, value approaches.
Respond to any client review questions/comments in a timely manner.

MUST BE PROFICIENT IN MICROSOFT WORD & EXCEL.
Must be a driven individual with the desire to learn the fundamentals of commercial and residential real estate markets.
Proficient in the use of public information websites, i.e. property appraiser, clerks etc.
Business Administration: Finance and Accounting courses are a plus. You must have a competent understanding of basic finance concepts.
A Bachelor’s Degree is not necessary for the Researcher position but is necessary to become a Certified General Appraiser.
Some level of real estate experience, familiarity with zoning, land use and economics influencing commercial real estate trends.
Commercial Appraiser Job Requirements:
Must be a driven individual looking to work within a group setting who has an understanding of Commercial Real Estate fundamentals.
Must be competent in Microsoft Office and public information website navigation (Property appraiser, clerk of court etc.).
Excellent writing and communication skills.
Understanding of approaches to real estate value.
High level of knowledge of financial real estate terms and principles.
