Colliers International Valuation & Advisory Services is currently seeking Experienced Valuation Professionals for its Miami and South Florida offices.
Key Responsibilities The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate core competencies in the following areas:
Compute valuation of land and improvement properties, with an emphasis on institutional class assets and clientele.
Conducts field inspections of properties by physically examining asset to determine size, class, quality and location attributes, as well as competitiveness within marketplace
Obtain pertinent resource materials to help establish assessed values.
Collects, analyzes, and reports findings of regional and local area economic profiles including employment, population, household income, and real estate trends as well as identifying and reporting on emerging development trends for the real estate market.
Confirms and analyzes legal and physical features of the subject property including the site size, flood plain data, seismic zone, zoning, easements and encumbrances and access and exposure of real property.
Investigates, gathers, and reports pertinent, relevant data needed for determining current market value. This would include but is not limited to tax and assessment data, market statistics including vacancy, absorption, and other supply/demand factors, current comparable data (land sales, lease and sale comparable).
Completes appraisal reports including area descriptions, market analysis, site description and improvement descriptions.
Conducts valuation analysis and conclusions of licensed appraisers.
Communicates well with clients, meeting client expectations and maintaining on-time delivery
Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
