• Perform in-depth industry, market, and property level research and valuation analysis on a wide range of property types using all accepted approaches and theory • Collection, analysis of market and financial data including: • Collection of real estate transaction and market participant data on a domestic and foreign basis • Analyzing historical property operating statements • Abstracting/analyzing real estate leases • Review and preparation of valuation analyses using the three acceptable methods of valuation (cost, market, and income approach - including discounted cash flow models) • Preparation of complex reports regarding analysis and conclusions of findings
Requirements: • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Real Estate, Finance, or Accounting • Licensed • Minimum 3-4 years experience in constructing and reviewing real estate valuation models • Demonstrated real estate analytical and modeling skills - includes the ability to identify and analyze comparable sales, leases, and the ability to construct a discounted cash flow model utilizing Excel or other real estate cash flow programs • Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as a part of a cross functional client service team • Strong analytical and problem solving skills, as well as strong verbal and written communication skills • Knowledge of software packages including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Working knowledge of Argus is a plus • Attention to detail with a strong work ethic • Willingness to travel
