Long term locally owned appraisal firm seeking a commercial appraiser associate to handle commercial appraisals for office, industrial, subdivision, multifamily and land appraisals in strong Charleston area market. This growing area presents opportunities for a commercial appraiser looking for the opportunity to grow their practice and skills with an established firm and strong client base.
Our area has strong business, industrial, and residential growth. Our two principals are designated appraisers with lifelong community ties and a strong client base. We would like to expand our company and we enjoy working with appraisers that are interested in obtaining their designations. We would prefer a general certified appraiser; but, we are willing to train and help you grow into a general ceritfied appraiser and into our business.

About Sass Herrin & Associates
Sass Herrin and Associates was founded by Herbert R. Sass, III, MAI,SRA, and Burk Y. Herrin, Jr., SRA. We grew up in Charleston and nearby Summerville and we both graduated from the Citadel with degrees in business administration. Herb began his real estate career in sales and land development and Burk got his start working with the Assessor's office. In the early 1980's we began our appraisal careers and earned our designations a few years later; both moving on to different companies before starting Sass Herrin & Associates in 1992. We both realized early on how important it is to both our clients and us to develop and train our associates to be both competent, knowledgeable, and good business people. We have had the pleasure of having many fine associates and have had five associates become designated appraisers. We would encourage and be happy to have others do as well. Herb served on the SC Real Estate Appraisers board for 16 years with 10 as Chairman as well as serving as State President of the SC Chapter of the Appraisal Institute. Burk has served the state chapter and the local MLS board.
