POSITION SUMMARY
The Staff Appraiser is responsible for reviewing restricted use appraisal reports by analyzing data for accuracy and quality and affixing the final value conclusions. The position delivers accurate reports within a client’s turnaround time. The position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: appraisal analysis, vendor customer service, and client customer service.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Ensure federal, state, regulatory, and client requirements are met
Review restricted use appraisal to ensure completeness, photo quality, and accuracy of the appraisal report using the QC guidelines
Affix a final value to the restricted use appraisal
Contact the vendor to resolve any issues preventing the report from being completed within the contractual TAT
Process reviews as quickly as possible for final completion of the report
Provide client team, if needed, with status updates on deadline delays or any issue that prevents the order from meeting the contractual TAT
Adhere to vendor and client customer service requirements
Assist Team Lead and Manager as needed
Participate in other interdepartmental cross training
Expected to participate in overtime as directed
Maintain strict confidentiality and discretion
