City of New York - DCAS Real Estate Services is looking for a detail-oriented Commercial Real Estate Appraiser. An Appraiser Level II is responsible for the appraisal of real estate, with wide latitude for independent action and decision making. The Appraiser’s tasks will include, but not be limited to the following: performing complex and supervisory work in the appraisal of real estate; research activities by collecting information and data of current and historical nature for use in the preparation of appraisal reports; obtaining source materials by means of research, examination of records, published materials, or personal interviews; researching materials and records to collect and analyze data and information regarding transactions related to real property valuation.
