We are growing!!  We are a long standing reputable residential and commercial real estate appraisal firm seeking an individual who would like to move into real estate valuations.  The trainee/appraiser would follow a seasoned licensed appraiser and learn the basics of industry terminology, appraisal strategy etc.  Tasks will include but not limited to market and property research, learning appraisal techniques, perform inspections of properties etc. 

The trainee will begin at an hourly wage and graduate to a competitive fee split.  Annual base compensation dependent upon experience, which includes participation in production incentives above base salary.

This is an apprentice-style position intended for individuals who are intentionally pursuing a profession and are prepared for the training, coursework and experience required for state certification.  We will actively train an appraiser to excel in our sector.  This position requires flexibility with travel throughout northwestern Wisconsin.

The role is well-suited for candidates who enjoy analytical work, market research, and professional writing, and who are motivated to develop independent judgement under experienced supervision.

4 year degree (preferred but not required)
