We have an exciting opportunity at Rockland Trust for an experienced commercial real estate appraisal professional who is looking to work with a dynamic team of professionals in a collaborative environment, in which integrity and mutual respect are cornerstones.
The opportunity involves a primary focus on completing USPAP Standard 3/4 reviews of commercial appraisal reports within a federally regulated financial services environment. Using our in-house appraisal management system, and working remotely, the ideal candidate will be New England based, certified as a general appraiser, and familiar with new construction, LIHTC assignments, and other complex real estate interests. Property types are wide-ranging, requiring a diversified skillset. This role reports to the Bank's Chief Commercial Appraiser who is a designated member of the Appraisal Institute.
State Certified General Appraiser (MA, RI, NH preferred), 5+ years of commercial real estate appraisal experience, a teamwork mentality, and the ability to effectively manage priorities with limited direct supervision. Regional Bank or institutional commercial real estate appraisal review experience desired.
