Commercial Valuation Advisors (CVA) is seeking a motivated commercial real estate appraiser who is ready for more than just another production role.

We are looking for someone who has strong appraisal experience, wants to continue growing professionally, and feels limited by the advancement opportunities available in their current environment. CVA is a commercial real estate valuation and consulting firm based in Denver, owned by 2021 National Appraisal Institute President Rodman Schley, MAI, SRA. We are not a large corporate firm. We work hard, maintain high standards, and take pride in producing quality work, but we also value culture, flexibility, collaboration, and enjoying the process along the way.

Responsibilities

• Prepare commercial appraisal and consulting assignments
• Analyze market data, comparable sales, leases, and financial information
• Inspect commercial properties and conduct market research
• Develop narrative appraisal reports and valuation analyses
• Communicate with clients, brokers, attorneys, lenders, and market participants
• Assist with mentoring and team development as responsibilities grow

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified General designation
• Commercial appraisal experience across multiple property types
• Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills
• Ability to manage assignments independently
• Proficiency with Word, Excel and commercial real estate data platforms
• Knowledge of DCF valuation platforms is a plus
